Review
I purchased this device for its function as an eReader and it is excellent for that purpose. It beats the dickens out of other readers for ease of reading.
It's not an iPad or any of the other more expensive devices and it's not meant to be. It is well constructed and sturdy. It's great for storing pics
and mp3's (make sure you have a decent set of headphones to go with it.) If you want a gaming device, look elsewhere as Novel black runs 1.5. (The Android
tablet conversion is available directly from the Pandigital website and is easy to install but you will still be running 1.5.)
I discovered quite by accident that it will stream mp4 videos. Go to a website where you can download mp4 videos and click on
a mp4 download (archive.org is a good place to start) and the tablet will load the video player automatically
and start streaming the video. Forget about all the complaints you read - it's great for what it is and you can't beat the price.
